Introduction to SAS

The goal is to gain an insight into the comprehensive software package SAS. The participant gets to know the usage of SAS using data entry and data preparation, with the help of examples from statistical descriptive methods and simple graphics.

 

The centre of attention will be program writing, data retrieval, the creation of simple graphics and statistical analyses. The participants will learn to use data and proc statements, as well as some options of selected procedures.

 

Required previous knowledge:

- statistical basic knowledge beneficial

- SAS basic knowledge is not required
